The run will kick off at 6.00pm and will take you around Victoria Park. We will start gathering you in to the start area at 5.50pm. We will have some funky tunes played to get you in the spirit and you will be warmed up by our team. There will be marshals around the course to support and encourage you. Please note placings for this race will be based on chip time. Please take care when running around the course as this is public land and local residents will be out and about. Please always stay on the left unless otherwise guided. Enjoy this great run around Victoria Park. Results will be displayed on our race timing screen so after crossing the finish line you can check out your time.
When registering you only need to enter one persons name and email per team! If entering multiple teams please just add an individual team captain name and email for each team. (You decide your team members prior to race day and we do not need this information).
HOW IT WORKS
Enter individually and run for your location and company or get a corporate team together. Teams can be any size from 4 upwards. Results will be grouped in to teams of 4 and these are sorted by team runners crossing the finish line so the first 4 team runners go in to team 1 and the next 4 team 2 and so on. These will also be split as male, female and mixed!
WHAT YOU GET
Every entrant receives full race chip timing, an awesome CityvWharf Medal, snacks and drinks on the day and free photos to download!
Your race packs can be collected at the event and will include your race number and timing baton. You can collect your race numbers for your entire team and it's up to you to decide the order of your runners. (We do not require the other team member names until race day) Please note Batons must be handed back to our team after you complete the event. Failure to do so will result in a £45 fee as batons are very expensive to replace.
ARRIVAL & START TIME
The City v Wharf 5k Team Run Challenge will start at 6.00pm so please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the event start. Please make sure you pin your race number to the front of your t-shirt.
This is located next to the registration tents. Please note space is very limited so travel as lightly as possible. If you require bag storage make sure you arrive with plenty of time to spare.
